Animal Rescue Groups

Listed below are some the organizations that 4025 Yoga and Wellness supports throughout the year. If you are interested in learning about any of these groups, please click on their links!

Area Rehabbers Klub (ARK) takes in any type of injured wildlife- birds, raccoons, opossums, etc. – should you come across an injured wild animal – please help – many of them can be saved, rehabilitated and returned to the wild!  ARK is a 501(c)(3) federally recognized non-profit organization serving the area around Richmond, Virginia. Since ARK was officially incorporated in March 2000, we have taken in over 4000 animals requiring more than $20,500 worth of food and medical supplies. This does not include the cost incurred by each individual rehabilitator to complete the nutritional needs and caging requirements for release that ARK was unable to provide for them.

Bandit’s Adoption & Rescue of K-9’s
The primary focus at B.A.R.K. (Bandit's Adoption and Rescue of K-9's)is rescuing orphaned or abandoned pets and other adoptable dogs from local shelters and finding loving, forever homes for them. B.A.R.K. covers healthcare costs for its orphans by partnering with various local veterinarians who provide routine vaccinations or booster shots, disease testing & treatment (heartworm, etc.), and spay/neuter services. B.A.R.K volunteer foster's provide safe environments for rescued animals until they are adopted by loving individuals and families. Our first priority is the care and safety of our orphans. We also do our best to be a resource for dog owners within the community and support others who are advocating for the welfare of dogs.

PAL (Prevent A Liter)
The mission of Prevent A Litter Veterinary Hospital is to eliminate the killing of healthy, otherwise adoptable companion animals simply because they are surplus and cannot be placed in loving homes. PAL plans to accomplish this goal by providing high quality, affordable, and accessible spay/neuter services to the public without regard to income or geography. We provide a more practical and caring solution. Help us put an end to their suffering.
