Candy Evans, ERYT/RYT500 has been studying the wisdom tradition of yoga and practicing mediation and Tai Chi for more than 20 years and has been practicing asana for 6 years.  She completed the 230-hour teacher training program at the Asheville Yoga Center in North Carolina under the direction of Stephanie Keach in 2007 and the Advanced Studies program in 2009.  She has studied with many great and inspiring teachers from far and wide and loves and appreciates them all.  She holds a BFA in Theatre from Virginia Commonwealth University and has worked as a trainer and teacher for more than 15 years.  She enjoys bringing the practice of yoga to all people regardless of age, life circumstance, perceived ability, or experience. 
 

This class is relaxed and filled with laughter! Candy will lead you through poses that help stretch and strengthen the body. Students are guided through a series of yoga poses designed to enhance breathing and relaxation techniques to prepare for childbirth. In addition to help release tension, restore energy and provide an understanding of your changing body; emphasis is placed on abdominal and pelvic floor muscles. Classes are appropriate for all levels of fitness and yoga experience, and for any stage of pregnancy.
