Stephanie Quinby
RYT 200 Instructor

Stephanie completed her Hatha Yoga Instructor Training through Glenmore Yoga & Wellness Center. She also maintains a Level II Certified Yoga Fitness Instructor certification through American Fitness Professionals and Associates. Stephanie teaches yoga with a meditative and strong flowing style. She initially attended a yoga class to share time with her mother at the gym, but after the very first class felt a deep, inner connection with the practice. She emphasizes the vital connection between the awareness of the breath and the asana practice, creating a mindful balance between exploring one's strength and finding inner balance and harmony.
Hatha Yoga 1
This class is a place to begin to build strength, stamina and flexibility by learning the basics of hatha yoga: postures (asana), breath work (pranayama) and relaxation (savasana). Students will build on the basics and hone their practice by enhancing stamina and flexibility. This class is the precursor to Hatha 2. Thursday’s 6:00 - 7:15 p.m.
Here’s a testimonial from student Ruth Lavine: “I originally came to 4025 Yoga and Wellness and Stephanie’s Hatha 1 class after dropping my American Family Membership. This class has become an integral part of my life. Yoga has taught me many things, firstly, I feel stronger and more physically fit than I have in many years. It has given me inner strength I did not know I had. I would highly recommend you to try Stephanie’s yoga classes and see how it can help you in your own life.”
Hatha Yoga 2
A more challenging an energetic class helps guide students to a deeper level of understanding the seated poses, standing poses, inversions, arm balances, backbends and sun salutations. With continued emphasis on breathing and meditation, this class encourages students to explore deeper creative expression and joy in their practice.
Tuesday’s 6:00 - 7:15 p.m.
